instruction / education

our third program area is our education programs. for the past two years we have trained leaders in our community who are interested in instructing or guiding activities certified in wilderness medicine, avalanche education, and ski and snowboard instructor training.

these community leaders then share this knowledge by leading events for our organization, for other aligned organizations, as well as within their own communities through informal mentorship and bringing friends to the mountains

since our founding, BIPOC ski, snowboard, backcountry, cross-country ski, and mountain bike instructors, have provided guidance and instruction to 288 unlikely riders throughout the year at 8 different ski areas, cross-country centers, backcountry zones, and bike parks.
